Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Just finished reading one of the best editorials ever in the Saturday, July 31st edition of the Bakersfield Californian.  Stacey Augustson, longtime rescuer and supporter, echoes the feelings of all responsible animal lovers. Bravo, Stacey.  More of us need to speak out and get involved.   Click on the link below for a scanned copy of the article.

HELP WANTED

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

If you live near the Rosedale Petco store and would be willing to help set up and dismantle our adoption tables on Saturdays, please contact Brenda at our site. We are also looking for volunteers to help with adoptions. We have a few wonderful people trying to do it all.

If you love, just love your washing machine, the adoption volunteers need someone to wash and deliver bedding every other Saturday. Contact Brenda if interested.

Desperate for Foster Care

Monday, July 19th, 2010

There are so many cats and kittens in need of rescue in Bakersfield, but unfortunately we do not have enough foster homes to take them in. Foster care is very rewarding and we pay for all supplies and medical care. If you would be interested in becoming a foster parent please contact BrendaB@TheCatPeople.org.
